Herbal Medicine Making: Elderberry Cordials

  • Plant Magick 803 Montana Avenue East St. Paul United States (map)

The practice of infusing distilled spirits with plant material has been around for thousands of years.  The resulting liquid is called a cordial, and is intended to be consumed in small amounts for medicinal benefits.  In this class, you will learn about the many medicinal benefits of Elderberries, as well as several other herbs included in the recipe.  Each student will make their own 64oz jar of elderberry cordial to take home.  Impress your dinner guests with this slow sipper, or pour it into decorative bottles and gift it to your friends!

Bring your own Brandy!  You will need 48oz of brandy for your recipe.  There is no need to purchase an expensive bottle- the cheap stuff works great and will taste amazing when all is said and done!

Sip your way to better health this holiday season!

Pre-registration and full payment is required. Non-refundable.

Fee: $100

*Students are welcome to make extra half-gallon jars of Elderberry Cordial for $35.00/jar. If you would like to add an extra jar, pease note this at the time of registration.
