In this fun, hands on workshop we will dive into the next level of topical preparations, beyond infused oils & salves. You will learn standard recipes for chapstick and lotion bars, as well as ways to alter those standard recipes for unique finished products.   Each participant will make + take 2 custom chapstick tubes and 2 custom lotion bars.  You can choose your own scents, tints, and create special custom labels for a polished finished product.  Gift your handmade goodies to a friend or loved one this holiday season, or keep them for yourself. The practice of infusing distilled spirits with plant material has been around for thousands of years.  The resulting liquid is called a cordial, and is intended to be consumed in small amounts for medicinal benefits.  In this class, you will learn about the many medicinal benefits of Elderberries, as well as several other herbs included in the recipe.  Each student will make their own 64oz jar of elderberry cordial to take home.  Impress your dinner guests with this slow sipper, or pour it into decorative bottles and gift it to your friends!
