Our landscapes are full of plants.  From trees and flowers to roots and weeds, each plant has its own unique spirit, energy and purpose.  The plants that surround us are offering up their help and healing energy but learning how to use them can sometimes feel daunting to beginners.

In this workshop, we will learn how to make root medicine. We will discuss several plants that root medicines can be made from, along with their specific uses. We will get outside to ID these plants late in the growing season, harvest, and make root medicine. Learn the skills you will need to start using herbs more regularly, to make your own plant medicine and to create a home pharmacy.

In this hands on class, you will make your own root tincture to take home. Please bring a 4 oz. jar with a lid, and some vodka for this project.
