Boost your nutrition with wild, edible plants. We will meet at Sucker Lake Regional Park for an easy hike where you will learn how to ID a variety of wild edibles. We will engage our senses of touch, taste and smell as we get to know these delicious and healthy plants. We will discuss the benefits of incorporating wild food into your diet as well the medicinal benefits of the plants we see. Recipe ideas will be provided. We will not be harvesting on our plant walk, but you will leave prepared to spot, positively ID, harvest and prepare several wild foods for yourself and your family.
*Class will happen rain or shine, but if the weather is really bad (pouring rain/storms) class will be rescheduled.
Fee: $50.00
